My love and dedication to wine comes through in every bottle I produce. I am persistent, serious and although extremely passionate about wine, I know that “without persistence, passion is just a dream”. I work very hard each day perfecting this craft, and I also enjoy talking with all the customers in the tasting room. Making the sale is all about good customer service, good pricing, great packaging and of course, the best taste.
The persistence in me, is not to just make others happy with great wine, but to leave a living legacy. The winery dream started to become an obsession when both of my children were born. I am strong and want to work hard so that they may reap my rewards and carry on my dream after me. I purchased 16 acreage to plant grape vines and add an additional winery with a larger location. Another part of the future and legacy for Hopwood Cellars Winery to live on for 200 years. Most wineries do not have this long of a plan, not me, the Hopwood name will live on for many generations. But to do this, I must brand the name. I plan to do this by setting myself apart from all others, by producing the best wines with the best service than anyone else.
